Siamo nel lontano 1850 quando il
bisnonno dell'attuale proprietaria decise di aprire una locanda con stallattico
per consentire a coloro che transitavano da e verso la Toscana di riposarsi e di
cambiare quello che allora era il mezzo di trasporto più comune: IL MULO. Oggi
che i muli sono stati sostituiti dalle automobili, la famiglia Valtancoli e
Russo continua a gestire l'attività che fu per molto tempo unico punto di
riferimento del paese. Nel corso degli anni molte ristrutturazioni hanno
cambiato l'aspetto del locale fino allo stato attuale.
It was in the far-off 1850s that
the current proprietor's great-grandfather set up a stop-over inn and
stables for the travellers going to Tuscany, so they could have a rest and
change their horses or mules and still today, even if the mules have been
replaced by cars, the Valtancoli - Russo family still run the place which in
the course of time has been restructured several times, until gaining its
present looks.
Es war im weiten 1850, dass der
Uebergrossvater der heutigen Besitzerin eine Gastwirtschaft oeffnete mit
dazu einer Stallung, sodass die nach Toscana Reisenden dort uebernachten und
zu gleicher Zeit ihre Pferden oder Maulesel ersetzen konnten.
Noch immer heute, obwohl die Maulesel mittlerweile von
Autos ersetzt worden sind, fuehrt die Valtancoli - Russo Familie das Haus, das
im Laufe der Jahren oefters restauriert worden ist.
